We didn’t quite manage to put Peep Show to one side for our chat about Robert Webb’s debut novel, Come Again.
Grieving Kate Marsden is struggling to see the point in anything following the death of her husband Luke. After a deep sleep she wakes up in her 18-year-old body at freshers’ week at York Uni. She realises she is about to meet her future dead husband again for the first time, and that she has a chance to save him.
We had a good old ramble about Webb at the beginning (Haj interrupted his day for an autograph at King’s Cross, and Curtis has watched Peep Show more times than he should be proud of (though he is proud).)
As with Normal People, we found ourselves talking about uni and of course you’ll find the usual smattering of one-star reviews. If you want to get to the actual book chat rather than our thoughts on the author, we recommend starting at about minute 7.
